17th to 21st November 2026 at Stantonbury Theatre, Milton Keynes
“Leesen verrry carefully, I weel say zis only wurnce…!”
By popular demand we are returning to Café René in war-time France and the trials and tribulations of France’s greatest, if unwilling, hero, René Artois as he tries to juggle the demands of the resistance, the Germans, a pair of British airmen and the amorous advances of his serving girls. All your favorite characters and catch phrases from the classic TV comedy series.
This script that we created (adapted from the original TV series) and first staged in 2013 has since been published and performed by dozens of groups worldwide. We are delighted to bring it back to Milton Keynes audiences!
By arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
