1st to 3rd June 2023 at the Chrysalis Theatre, Milton Keynes
Written by Mark Evans.
The story Charles Dickens might have written after drinking too much gin…
This Charles Dickens spoof was a splendidly silly story. It was the ‘best of times’… with a twist!
Our audiences thrilled to the adventures of Pip Bin, his siblings and friends as they raced against time to thwart the schemes of the wicked Mr Gently Benevolent.
A hugely silly parody on the works of Charles Dickens, this new stage adaptation brought a whole new comedic dimension to the massively popular Radio 4 comedy spoof. And swans. They laughed! They cried! They swooned! They nodded approvingly at the reasonably priced interval refreshments! A night of hilarious literary lunacy !
An amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books. We were very fortunate to be able to produce this show while it was also being performed in the West End.
Costumes and props used in this show are available to hire – see our Costumes page for more information.
